A place close to the land of Water. It has white sandy beaches and crystal clear blue water along with fish what people assume to be a 'monster' that lurks the depts. of it.
The desert is where Sunagakure rests, it's hot, dry air and bad soil isn't good for growing herbs. One could easily get lost in the desert in one of their sand storms and die of hunger/thirst. this land stretches far beyond the location of the village.
